We headed out to San Agustin del Guadalix to visit the Hubers on Thursday April 30. We had a long weekend and decided to spend the night at their house. We watched the kids play soccer, we played games and we had fun. Paul got a cake at a grocery store nearby and we celebrated my birthday with the Hubers on Friday May 1.
We also went to a ward activity. It was a talent show and in Spanish, so we didn't understand it. Instead we helped out making hot dogs for everyone. It was a fun evening and it was a way for us to participate in our own way. We had planned on staying just the one night--Thursday night--but since we stayed so long at the activity, we decided to stay Friday night as well. Saturday morning I was ready to get home, shower and wear clean clothes. We caught the bus back to Madrid around 11am. We got cleaned up and played some Heroes of Might and Magic II--that's one thing that Glenn wanted to do with me on my birthday. :D
Then we went to some stores to look for possible souvenirs. We found some funny things they are selling over in Europe.
Then we went to Ninsei, a Japanese restaurant for my birthday dinner. This restaurant was really close to the hotel we lived in the first time we came to Spain. It was nice going back, knowing we were going to have a good meal.
Paul took some pictures of Glenn and I after our meal. I sure love BOTH my boys!
