Even though we knew we were traveling to Utah for Christmas, we still wanted to set up some decorations at our home. Glenn wanted to help set up the tree this year.
Back in November we had noticed that our front window had cracked. A maintenance guy had come and taken measurements and such, but not until December did the window finally come and was installed. Glenn enjoyed watching him as he pried the window out, careful not to break it or anything else. It was quite interesting having no window there for a few minutes while he was getting it from the truck. Glenn thought it was pretty cool!
We had the joy of watching one of our friends' little girls one afternoon. Little Evie brightened up our day while we had her at our home. Glenn had fun reading books to her and entertaining her.
We have had another joy in our lives--Sister Nicole Rainy, a recent convert in our ward, has been coming to our home each Monday night for dinner and Family Home Evening. We enjoyed good food, a good lesson, a Christmas story and songs and decorating Gingerbread men cookies!
These last two pictures Glenn wanted me to take. He noticed one day that he was wearing all blue and he had a blue balloon. Definitely picture worthy. :D
And this one--"Mom, take a picture of me in this big pile of pillows and stuff!" Okay!
