Temple Square with Kirsta's family

A few days after going to Temple Square with my parents, Kirsta asked if we wanted to go there with her family.  Sure!  We made a fun date out of it and got to see different things, making it worth the second trip.
As we were driving down to Salt Lake again, we got to view a beautiful sunset.  I love the sunsets in Utah!  I don't know if it's because of the mountains or what, but they are gorgeous to me!

We met Kirsta, Morian, Devin and Mackenzie at the City Creek Mall food court.  We let the kids play in the indoor playground--dinosaur themed--while the adults waited in line for food.  We initially thought about getting some pizza, but after waiting in line for forever, we were told that it would be another 45 minutes to order a whole pizza instead of just getting slices.  Bah.  So we got food from other places instead.  We got food from the Red Iguana and they got Chinese for them and McDonald's for the kids.
After dinner we walked over to Temple Square, passing Macy's Candy Windows along the way.  It was so fun to see different characters and things made out of candy!
Once in Temple Square, we took several pictures among the lights.
That evening we listened to the Nativity story...
...toured the old Tabernacle...

...and got to see the Christus statue.
It was another wonderful evening with our family in beautiful Temple Square!
