Glenn has been learning all kinds of new things in Mu Sool Won. One of his favorite games was the Bomb Game. The mats would be out and Master Kevin would choose which spots had 'bombs'. If the kids jumped on a square with a bomb, they had to go back to the beginning. The first one to the end, won.
Master Kevin taught the kids to do somersaults and cartwheels and safe ways to fall.
One of MY favorite things was when the kids would get all padded up and then get to jab at each other. They were so cute!!
They had all kinds of games they would play too. They would start each round with a bow to their partner and then proceed with the game.
This game they had to hop on one foot while holding the other and try to knock the other person down. It doesn't look so comfortable to me...
They also played a game where they used a pad to try to push their opponent off the mat.
One day the kids were blindfolded and had to use their ears to try to find the other kids. Glenn looked so cute with the blindfold on. I laughed and said he looked like a girl with a long pony tail!
Master Kevin is also teaching the kids to have good balance. The boys really liked this one.
It's been fun to see him improve his skills just in a couple of months!
Great job, Glenn!!
