Fun with Neighbors

We really are grateful for our wonderful neighbors all around us in our apartment complex.  There really are great people everywhere!

We've recently met another neighbor and he and Glenn have become fast friends.  Caleb is an only child as well, is 6 and is similar to Glenn.  They play so well together and have such fun!  One day they were outside having adventures, collecting treasures and having a blast.  It was one of our chilly days we've had here and I had them come in and enjoy some hot chocolate. 

November's weather has really flip-flopped all over the place.  We've had days in the 40's and others in the 70's and everything in between--but not in a warm to cool pattern.  It's been so different week to week and even day to day on some weeks.  But on one of those nice days, Glenn enjoyed playing outside with Caleb and our other neighbor Siam.

We like our complex, but one complaint would be that there isn't really a place for the kids to play.  They have a few dog park areas, but they also allow the dogs to do their business on any of the grass and of course there are people who don't clean up after them.  So the kids don't have a place to play.  But we do our best to have fun no matter what or where!  That day, they enjoyed bikes, scooters and climbing trees!
