Paul, Glenn and I arrived in Austin, Texas on Saturday January 12th.
We had enjoyed the time in Dallas with our good friends--and look forward to many more get-togethers with them! We had a good little vacation on our drive here, and though we stopped and enjoyed things, we were happy to be done sitting in the car for days. : D
We pulled up to the Staybridge Suites in the late afternoon/evening and said hello to our new home for the next two months.
Remember how we had lived in a hotel in Virginia when we first moved there? It was a small space--big enough to have two beds face to face, a table, one chair, a little kitchen and a bathroom. Well we were curious to see what we would get here. When we checked in, they told us about the room-we were shocked and delighted! We just had to see it for ourselves! Yep--it was great!
It had a living room--with a table and 4 chairs!!
It also had a small kitchen--this one doesn't even have an oven! But they do provide breakfast every day, and they have dinner for us Tuesday-Thursday. So that makes up for the no oven thing.
Then it has two rooms and two bathrooms. (This is sounding like our apartment in Virginia...and it's almost as big! Haha!) The first room has the bathroom and a queen bed.
The other room has more of a little hallway leading to the bathroom and then two double beds. Glenn likes being able to jump from bed to bed.
We were very happy upon seeing this suite! We can do this for two months-sure!
Not only do they provide breakfast and dinner 3 times a week, but they have a fitness center and a FREE laundry room! That means I don't have to pay for each load! Hooray! We feel very blessed to be here--with this new job, new opportunity, and this chance to save some money right now. : D

That's an awesome waffle! Did you get that at your free breakfast? I'm glad you guys have a bigger "living" space this time around!
