Our April seemed to go pretty quickly. It was filled with lots of fun and tourist-y things. We also had fun at the apartment. Our absolutely WONDERFUL friend from church, Cecelia, came to dinner again. We got a picture this time!
The kids just love her and we do too! We're so happy that she wants to be with us as much as we want to be with her.
She brought another delicious dessert. It was so good and we ate it so fast that I didn't get a picture of it! But it's from a place called Uncle Tetsu. It was another variety of Japanese cheesecake. Seriously, so good!!
Glenn has been into making forts lately. This was his latest creation.
Mid-April we experienced a snow and ice storm. We had already had plans with our other friends from church, the Hall family, to do dinner again. So we braved the snow and slush and went to their home. We had another fun night.
Apparently the storm kept getting worse and really icy so they actually cancelled church the next day! When we got the emails and phone calls from church members, we found out that this was the first time they've cancelled church in 10 years! So it must've been bad.
So instead of going to church, we stayed home, watched some General Conference and enjoyed time together as a family. Glenn and Sarah sure have a lot of fun on this couch, with the pillows. Glenn is a great brother and Sarah just adores him!
With the cold weather we just can't go out and play at parks like we can in Texas this time of year. So Glenn has been really creative in creating different ways to play and be entertained.
And Sarah found this fun hiding spot! We had been playing hide-n-seek and she found this all on her own! She even wants us to close the closet door so she is really hidden. She is brave and funny!
