After spending Saturday morning (May 4th) at the beach in France,
we headed back into Spain.
I took some pictures of the toll booths. This was one of the many, many that we went through.
They sure get you with the tolls there in Europe!
But despite all the paying of our money to tolls, we sure enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the Pyrenees as we passed through. The pictures don't really do it justice--the landscape was green and beautiful, dotted with little villages in little valleys and canyons.
Mountains are definitely some of God's most beautiful and wonderful creations!
Oh, and I guess we stopped in Pamplona, but we didn't stay there long. We wanted to see the stadium and the streets where they did the Running of the Bulls. But they had the stadium and such blocked off. We did take a couple of pictures that showed a couple of the streets, but that's all we could see there.
And so this was all of Pamplona that we saw...
...back into the car we went. And we were off to see Burgos!
