At the end of February we were invited to a birthday party of a new friend in our apartment complex. We had recently met Braden and his family and we were happy to have friends close by. Braden turned 5 and had the party at a place that is really close to our apartment complex. It is called Kiddie Acres. It's a small amusement type park that's made just for kids.
Glenn was excited to go on a pony ride. Here he is getting all set up.
Then he was on his way. He did a few loops around in the fenced-in area and he loved it.
Then he and Braden went for a ride on the airplanes.

Braden had many friends there but once Glenn got there he wanted to go on all the rides with him. That made Glenn feel really special, especially since we had recently met. After the planes, they drove around and around on the Jeeps.
And then the boats. Our other friends, Kaamil and her sister Kalyn were also invited. The girls joined the boys on the boats.
The kids all went together on the Ferris wheel. There were other holders, but the 4 of them wanted to go in the same one all together. I loved watching them as they went around and around. I could hear them talking, but couldn't understand what they were saying. I could only imagine what 4 and 5 year olds were talking about! So cute!
The kids also went on a Merry-go-Round.
The last ride for the evening was the train. It went all around the Kiddie Acres property and the kids really had fun. I loved that they crammed in together on one seat!
