A Visit in Downtown SLC

Monday night--our last night there--we headed down to Salt Lake to see some of the sites there.
We forgot Glenn's car seat in our car and so we had to buy one in Utah for him.  I wanted to get a picture of him in it--to show how grown-up he looks.
And here's one that shows how Paul looks when he drives.  hehehe

We first went to City Creek Center.  They had a fountain and Christmas decorations all around.

We met up with Maren and Tall Ryan there too.

We walked around a bit and then ate dinner at Blue Lemon.  It was delicious.
We walked into Deseret Book and warmed up before going back out to Temple Square.  Inside there was a train and Glenn really liked that.

We saw that there was an extremely long line, but we didn't know what for.  As we continued to walk around we saw the reason for it.  Jane Seymour was there signing books and such.

After we were warmed up, we went across the street to see the lights at Temple Square.

We got to see some pretty cool Nativity sets from around the world.

On our way back to the car, we heard a man playing a bagpipe.  The picture is kind of blurry and the video may be a bit dark, but it was a cool sound.

We enjoyed our visit, but got cold and it was time for us to go.

I should have waited until Saturday to look at your photos of Temple Square - we are going out to dinner at City Creek with Micah and Maren this Friday, then we're going to walk around and look at the Christmas lights and decorations downtown.
