60 Years of Marriage

My Thibault Grandparents celebrated 60 years of marriage this year!  We had a big celebration, inviting family, old and new friends, and anyone who knew the Thibaults.
Before the guests started to arrive, the family had a small lunch--although we had lots of food leftover that we all took loads home.

Here is a sequence of Paul, Glenn, Ethan and Jasper

The boys had so much fun being tossed so high into the air!

Here are the decorations and displays that we had set up.  The room was decorated so beautifully and the dessert was so delicious!  My cousin Annette made all the cupcakes too!

We also had a little program for my grandparents.  They love music and singing.  We had several piano solos and duets; we had a piano and cello duet; and my sisters and I sang a few songs.

We had my grandparents cut a cake--like they did 60 years ago.  I guess it was kind of tough because all of their kids came over to help.  Those of us taking pictures joked, "How many Thibault's does it take to cut a cake?"  It was really wonderful that my uncle Earl--their youngest son--be there.  He lives out of state and had a job delay so he was able to make it out for this.

Grandma and Grandpa look so wonderful together!!

It was a fun party, but it sure wiped out my boys! ;)

Who knows, this may be us in a few years--pushing Dad around!

Happy 60th Wedding Anniversary Grandma and Grandpa!!
We sure love you lots!!!
