A Day in Downtown Austin

January 24th we headed downtown again, this time for a Kid's Spring and Summer Camp Fair.  We wanted some information about possible things that Glenn could do here in Austin and the surrounding areas.  We parked the car on the top level of the parking garage and had this great view of the buildings downtown.

The camp fair was good.  We got a lot of information and places that Glenn might be interested in going.  But with us going to Spain again for Paul's work from March-May, that limited us on what we could do--at least for the Spring camps.  But there will be other times.

Since we were downtown, we decided to go do some fun things.  We found the classic Austin sign and took pictures in front of that.
We obviously had a lot of fun trying different poses and such.

Then we walked along the street and found a gelato shop.
We all love ice cream, so in we went!
Cactus plants are everywhere in Texas!
Then we found a food truck and got some yummy, yummy tacos at Mellizoz Tacos!  It was a bit of a wait, but they were really fresh and delicious!  We just might have to go there again--especially since it was near Gourdough's Donuts!!
