Branson Fun at Home

The morning that we were to leave, Paul came downstairs looking for Glenn.  When he couldn't find him, he looked out the window...

Glenn and his Great-Grandma Joan were sitting on the back porch, rocking in the chairs and just chatting.  It was so cute seeing him just talk to her!  He loved that she spent individual time with him.

Glenn also loved the time that he spent with his Great-Grandpa Bob.  I loved how Glenn would see Grandpa sitting and reading and felt like he could just come and get on his lap.  Grandpa didn't seem to mind though!

Besides going to shows and eating good food, we also loved being at the little cottage with each other.  We enjoyed playing many games--Can't Stop, Qwirkle, and Singapore--or was it Bangkok?  I don't remember.  Neither could Grandma and that was so funny!  

Also on our last night there, we had our own little show.  Glenn and Paul performed an awesome rendition of Jack and the Beanstalk.  I took several videos but all of them were too long to post.  But it was so cute!  Glenn was Jack and Paul played all the other characters.  They did a great job!

Grandma and Grandpa also joined in performing.  They sang a lovely duet together!

We sincerely enjoyed our time in Branson!!  Not only did we get to watch amazing performers and have lots of fun out and about, we had an incredible week with Grandma and Grandpa!  We absolutely LOVED the time we got to spend with them--just us and them!
