My favorite museum so far in Madrid is probably the Museo Naval. There were many models of the different styles of ships and various artifacts throughout the centuries of Spanish exploration and conquest.
The best part were the two portraits of Christopher Columbus. I thought the one of him as a younger man was fascinating.
