Second Christmas and Paul's Birthday

My parents came down to Texas to spend some of the holiday time with us.  They left Utah the day after Christmas and arrived here in Austin late on the 27th.  They brought a few things that we had left there, being unable to fit them in our tiny trunk, and they also brought Christmas and birthday presents.  We set up the presents under the tree, and it really was a second Christmas!
They came over for breakfast the next morning--Paul's birthday!  We had German pancakes-yum!
We then opened up the Christmas presents from my parents.  Glenn got all his favorite things: books, especially about space; Jake and the Neverland Pirates toys; and Spiderman pajamas!
Paul got the last two expansions of Dominion!

Later that afternoon we took them to the Texas Capitol Building.  I took them around the visitor's center and also the building.  Glenn had fallen asleep in the car and while Paul was holding him in the visitor's center, Glenn had an accident.  So Paul and Glenn went home to get cleaned up while the rest of us went inside the Capitol.

We then met back up with them at Rudy's Barbeque for a late lunch/early dinner.
After eating we went to see the movie Frozen.  What a great show!  We all loved it!
Then we went back to our apartment to celebrate Paul's birthday.  We also found a Christmas present from Cheryl that the delivery guy had put on our patio--it had been there for days and we hadn't noticed it.  So I'm glad no one took it.  We got a home-schooling book and Glenn got an Angry Birds game.
Paul opened up his other presents--Piano Guys CDs and another game--Wits & Wagers.
Happy Birthday Paul!  We love you!
