Fun in Texas

We like to have fun anywhere and everywhere.  

Glenn got this little minion in a kid's meal somewhere.  We thought it was so funny.  We decided it would be funny to have this be on our blog, to start this post, showing how much fun we have together.

We didn't bring many toys out of the storage unit for Glenn, but we did bring some.  His dress-ups were one of the bins that we did get out.  After not having them while we were in Utah, it was like Christmas again once he had them to play with.  On occasion, Paul and I would join in. :D

Ice Cream

One morning, soon after first arriving in Texas, before heading off to work Paul set up a movie for Glenn, allowing me to sleep in.  I was quite exhausted after all that hard work in Utah.  Seriously.  When I got up and came out of the bedroom, this is what I saw.  Glenn was indeed watching a movie, but he was also eating ice cream out of the carton..with a ladle!  What?!  Apparently while watching the movie he decided that he wanted ice cream.  He dragged a chair over to the freezer, got out the ice cream, and since he didn't know where the spoons were, he grabbed a ladle.  Nice, Glenn, nice. :D

Trains

Remember those friends who shared the water gun with us at the splash pad?  We had them over for a playdate and they had a ton of fun with the trains.  Glenn had missed those too while we were in Utah (and Spain).  He loved building big long tracks all over the front room.

And why play with trains with clothes on?  :D  It was a particularly hot summer day and Glenn decided he was much happier with just his underwear on.
