Mackenzie's Birthday Party

My niece Mackenzie just turned 1 on Sunday!
The Saturday before we had a party to celebrate.  It was a beautiful day to have a party outside.

 Ethan and his son Jasper
 Maren. Freya. Kirsta. Mackenzie.
Cecilia, Kirsta's sister-in-law, Morian's sister.  She was the only one from his side that was able to make it.  Even Morian wasn't there.  He was home sick. :S
 Sirie. (Lena). Ethan. Mom (Grandma).
 Freya

It was a tradition in Morian's family growing up to have a pinata for their birthdays.  So Kirsta and Morian are continuing that tradition.  Each kid got a turn in order of age.  Glenn had fun trying to hit it.  It actually opened by pulling the streamers off and ripping a hole in the bottom.  But it was fun letting the kids hit it.

The Mackenzie opened her presents.  We got her some clothes and bows for her hair.  She loves bows!

The boys had fun playing with her new toys, as well as the makeshift pinata bats.

Kirsta made a butterfly cake.  And a cute little one for Kenzie!

She used twinkies for the middle section--brilliant!
Paul was happy to put together her new baby stroller.  He hasn't done any 'engineering' type things in awhile.  :D
And last but not least, here is cute baby Freya.  She looked so content in Sirie's arms.  So Cute!

Moving, huh! When did this happen? Is it a job move? Better I hope. Virginia is so far away, but I'm sure there will be loads of fun to do...especially being new to the area and going on fun explorations!
