Saturday August 16th, Arik and Natasha were married and sealed in the Columbia, South Carolina Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
We were really happy to be part of their special day.
We also enjoyed spending the week with Holley and her family and getting to know them better.
Me. Brendan. Paul. Glenn. Lexi, Holley. Michael.
The bride and groom looked very happy as they exited the temple--as the new Mr. and Mrs. Arik Jensen!
While they were having their pictures taken, I walked around with the kids and took pictures. Brendan and Glenn had become such good little buddies!
After the sealing we had lunch at a BBQ buffet place. It was fun to talk with Natasha's extended family and get to know them. Then they had the reception at the club house near their home. I snuck some pictures while the photographer was taking some as well.
Their decorations were beautiful and fun.
Their cake was also beautiful.
And the food was delicious!
Again, it was a wonderful day and we were so glad to be a part of it--especially since none of Arik's other siblings were able to come. We were glad to be his support. Arik's parents, his uncle and his grandma were able to make it as well.
The beautiful bride!
They had some funny dress-ups and such, and of course we had a lot of fun messing around with them.
I snapped a few candid shots of the family during some down time.
Dennis. Arik.
Uncle Kim, Gramma J.
Then they had the daddy-daughter dance...
...the mother-son dance...
...and the couple's first dance.
And just before leaving, they had cake.
Congratulations to Arik and Natasha!!
