At the beginning of September, Glenn joined the Wells Branch Soccer Association. He had a week or so of practices and soon started playing official games.
Saturday September 12, Glenn had his first soccer game!
Glenn's team was called the Wild Ones and they wore green jerseys.
It was pretty fun to watch Glenn and his teammates play. It was definitely the first game of the season though... :D
Glenn didn't score any goals, but he had a lot of ball time. He did well and I think he learned a lot.
At one point, one of his opponents rammed into him pretty hard, knocking him off his feet. He got up, trying to be brave, but he was pretty shaken. The wind had gotten knocked out of him and he was gasping for air. He was close to our sideline, so we had him come out and we helped calm him down and helped him catch his breath again. He went back into the game and played until the end.
