November 11, Glenn and I went to Pfluger Park to attend a Veteran's Day Celebration.
They had speakers from the community and a junior high choir and band. The band and choir were pretty good! It was a very nice affair and I'm glad I could teach Glenn more about those brave men and women who have protected our country throughout the years.
After the program, we ate a free lunch sponsored by HEB--yum! Then we played on the playground with some friends.
Once everyone had left, I was able to get some pictures of the statues showcasing military personnel and their sacrifice. Thank you Grandpa Glenn, Dad, Grandpa Bob, Dennis, Uncle Mark and Aunt Bonnye for serving our country and protecting our freedoms! We truly appreciate your willingness to serve and sacrifice. We love you all!!
