October seemed to fly by! We had soccer practice and games and all kinds of things. We also had a lot of rainy and bad weather. But we still managed to have a little fun!
One evening Paul wanted to shine his shoes. Glenn was interested in the process, so he helped.
Glenn also wanted to help with the yard work. He was excited to get his own work gloves so he could help pull weeds and spray the other ones.
Glenn got another package from Little Passports.
This time Sam and Sophia had traveled to France.
One Sunday we had the Heywood family and Sarah Clark over for dinner. Norma Heywood is from Mexico and makes delicious food. We asked her to teach us how to make enchiladas. She had made some already and then had us make a few more with her showing us. She doesn't speak much English and I don't speak much Spanish, so all of us were in the kitchen, getting our hands involved with husbands translating and kids helping. It was a lot of fun! And they were so, so good!!
