Evelyn's Birthday Party

Early in the month of November we were invited to Paul's niece's first birthday party!  Sweet little Evelyn turned 1!  It was fun to eat her favorite foods, open presents and eat the cutely decorated cake.  

 

Glenn also made a little 'girlfriend'.  I think her name was Vanessa and she and Glenn liked to hug each other!  Pretty cute!

Shakespeare Play

Paul's cousin Davis participated in the junior high play "The Taming of the Shrew".  It was a lot of fun to see Davis act up on stage!  It was also great to see one of my YW--she was the Shrew to be tamed!  And another member from our ward was also it in.  They did a great job and Glenn even watched and was interested in it.  (We also went to see all of these kids again in a Spring musical "Bye Bye Birdie, but I didn't get a picture that time.)

Leaves and More Leaves

Even though we cut down our trees, we still got a lot of leaves in our yard.  That is thanks to the incredible winds there in Lehi.  One day we got out our rakes and began raking.  Fun of course followed.

We figured it was pretty helpful to have the trash can on the ground so we could just sweep them in.  

(Disclaimer: We did wash Glenn and his clothes after he was in the trash can.)  ;)

 

The day after Thanksgiving (which I'll do in another post) my Dad took the opportuity of the good weather to rake the leaves in his yard.  And we took the opportunity to jump in those piles!  (Don't worry, he was the one who invited us to do so.  He thought Glenn would have fun, and he did!)
