Thanksgiving
We
spent Thanksgiving with my family this year.
Paul
had the honors of slicing the beautiful turkey. And Maren making some
delicious asparagus. We really did have the best spread! We had so
much food and we were very grateful, especially since we had been unemployed
for most of the year. We were grateful to be with loving family and to
share in the abundance of all of us.
And
besides eating delicious food, we also hung out and played and enjoyed being
together. My sister-in-law, Lena's mother was with us this year.
(Galina came for the birth of Lena and Ethan's daughter Freya.
She
was born in September, on the 11th in fact.)
Glenn
thought he was playing the racing game, but Ethan really was.
He had a
fun time with it though.

Fun with the Smith Family
We
also spent some time with some of Paul's family. We LOVE being with the
Smith's! They are such an awesome family and we loved being close to
them. It was great also that Grandma Joan and Grandpa Bob were there.
Glenn had a lot of fun playing with the cousins--he even started calling
the boys his brothers!
We watched Soul Surfer with them, and Glenn climbed right into Rich's lap. It was so fun seeing him so comfortable with this family.

We had a really good evening with our family there!
Thanksgiving sure was a time of being Thankful for Family!
